Help with animating pictures

Tom Wells

I know how to use master slide to animate text, but how do you set the
default animation for images. For example, I often have a single picture in
a slide and I want that to "appear with previous". It seems that the default
is to "appear on click". How to I change this for all of the subsequent
slides along with modifying other animation options. Thanks. Tom

You'll need to apply the animation to each slide.

Or you could draw an AutoShape (a rectangle, for example) then set the
animation (with previous). Right click on the AutoShape. Select Format
AutoShape.
Under Fill Color > Select Fill Effects then the Picture Tab. Select Picture.
Browse to your photo, then insert it.

On your next slide, copy and paste the AutoShape from the previous slide. It
will have kept the animation. All you need to do is insert a new image.
