help with keyword/text sort?

How do I sort an entire column containing text ie business names
containing a certain word? example auto dealerships containing the word
"ford" sorted to the top of the column/worksheet for an easy copy/paste
to a new worksheet.

You can filter the records that contain a specific word, by using an
AutoFilter. There are instructions in Excel's Help, and here:

Use the Custom option in the AutoFilter dropdown
From the first dropdown, select 'contain'
In the text box, type the word that you want to find, e.g. 'ford'
Click OK
