Help with outlook rules and exchange

I have two email accounts that I use Outlook 2003 with. The primary
one is an Exchange server for work that uses all the fancy integrated
stuff like shared folders and scheduling and so on. The secondary one
is tied to my gmail account. I have a secondary .pst file that has all
my non-work contact, mail, calendars, etc under "Personal Folders". I
want to keep all my gmail stuff seperate and in my personal folders.

To help me do this I have a couple rules.

"Apply this rule after the message arrives throught the pop.gmail.com
account and on this machine only move it to the (personal) Inbox
folder." This works fine, except the rules don't seem to fire if I am
ever not on the local exchange server (for instance when I take my
laptop home but still want to get my gmail), and the mail goes into the
main inbox. Is there any way I can configure it so all gmail always
goes to the personal folder's inbox, even off of the exchange network?

To take care of mail sent with my gmail account, I have this: "Apply
this rule after I send the message through the pop.gmail.com account
and on this machine only move a copy to the (personal) Sent Items
folder." This works, except it suffers the same problem as the rule
above when not on the Exchange network. Also, Outlook would not give
me a "move" option, only the "move a copy" option. That results in a
copy in the primary Sent Items folder as well as in the personal Sent
Items folder. Is there a way I can make it only put the sent mail in
my personal folder?

Thanks!
