Your question is a bit sketchy but I will take a shot at
answering it.
I assume since you are addressing your question in the
Front Page newsgroup that you created your "index" page
with the Front Page program. I will further assume that
you did NOT create your index page in Front Page's HTML
mode since, by the way you state your question, you do
not sound like an experienced user. You probably used
Front Page's WYSIWYG mode. If these assumptions on my
part are correct, saving the index page using File | Save
or Save As will save the page as an "html" file on your
computer.
An "html" file constitutes a "web" page. Browsers read
html files (or pages) and display them for the user to
view. Thus if you saved your index as an html file, you
have already saved it as a web page. You need to take no
further action.
