Hey Ed, how do I make a button for the Clip Gallery Add-in??

I downloaded and installed the add-in, and it runs, but I don't get a
button for it. I downloaded and installed the Move Page add-in and when
it runs I get a button, so I put that one on my toolbar. I really want
to use the Clip Gallery.

TIA!

I don't use that add-in myself, but IIRC it adds a button if it's working
correctly.

You don't have to have the add-in to use the old-style ClipArt; you can
simply go to Insert > Object > Microsoft Clip Gallery x.0.

Hi Ed, when I go to Insert > Object, I don't get Microsoft Clip Gallery
as an option. I'm using Publisher 2003.

I can't figure out why this dll is not working. It worked fine in my
Pub 2002.

Thanks,
Kristie

But when I click on it, it doesn't open up the Clip Gallery. When I put
my cursor over the button, it says Clip Gallery Frame, but it won't
open up. It does work on my other machine with Pub 2002 on it. I hope
I can get this to work because I haven't figured out how to do clip art
the "new" way.

Thanks,
Kristie

You must have the old clip gallery installed to be able to access it. All
the add-in does is automate the going to Insert > Object. You will have to
install it from an old copy of Office 2000 or earlier.

Oh! I do have my disks from Office 2000. Is there a certain file that
I need to install, or do I have to install the old version of Publisher
and then reinstall Pub 2003?

Thanks,
Kristie

You can install the Clip Gallery as a standalone from your disks. If you choose to
install Publisher 2000, create a separate folder and install it there. You can drag
the .CAG icon to your desktop and create a shortcut. You cannot insert from it but
you can drag and drop.
