hide animations on power point

In version 2000, there is an option on the print page to hide animations. I
can't seem to locate it on 2003. I use this in a classroom setting, and want
the answers to come up in animation, but I don't want them printing on the
student's handouts. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Are the student copies printed in B&W?
You could try View > color/greyscale>B&W

and then right click a text box you dont want to show and in B&W setting >
dont show
