High CPU utilization 97-100% all the time with outlook.exe

Running W2K with SP3 and Office 2000 with SP3. The CPU is
high all the time no matter what I am doing. I am not sure
when it started, but there is nothing obvious that I have
done different on the system.

Larry, I am having the exact same problem!
I am running Office 2K on a Dell desktop w/ 129MB RAM
running Win XP. I have used the "detect and fix" function
in Outlook, but it only improved the CPU utilization of
Outlok from 98% to 96%. If you get a tip, please forward
to me.
