Highlighting Text in a Table

K

Kevin Graf

Is there any way to Highlight text in a table? I know how to highlight a
cell, but I just want to highlight the part of cells that have text.
Why? Because on the page I'm using a photo (very washed out) as
background and text needs highlight to be read, but doing the complete
cells blocks the photo.

Thanks in advance.

Click on 1 end of the text, hold down left mouse button and highlight
the text, then select the highlight color you want to use. Highlight
color is right next to Font color.

Is that what you are looking for?

You are lookinf for "semi-transparent". This feature is not supported
well by all browsers. See a workaround around at this URL:
http://www.daltonlp.com/daltonlp.cgi?item_type=1&item_id=217

The most efficint way to apply it in page is to define the class in a
style declaration on the page or in an external stylesheet and then
apply the class to the elements you want to use ti for.

Read up on CSS style sheets, if you have questions.

You need to make the background more transparent.
