Horizontal Line Properties

I know that I have done this before on other websites, but for some reason I
cannot seem to be able to change the properties of the horizontal rule in my
Front Page Theme. All I want to do is change the thickness and the color. I
have gone into the theme settings and tried to change the color but when I
return to the main screen in the themes it reverts back to the black color.
I am not sure of where I would change the pixels for the thickness???

can you show a page where this is happening?
Maybe the theme is using an image as an
?

Here is an example. It does not seem that I am using a graphic and if I am,
where would I swap that out in the theme. I don't see a graphic for the
horizontal rule in the theme settings.

Assuming FrontPage 2003.

Format->Theme - Customize
Modify - Text
More Text Styles
Scroll down (a long way down) to hr
Modify
Format->Font
Change the colour and click OK once
Format->Position
Change the height
Click OK four times - back at initial Customize screen
Save As -> choose a new name.

(I don't use themes because I like to use my own stylesheets for more
control.)

If you view the HTML source for that page you will see plain
for
the horizontal line. My guess is that your theme does not assign HR
properties or if it does, it is not used in your web page.

Another possibility: I know that FP incorporates some of its bells and
whistles at the time of page creation. And it does not automatically
update a saved page if you revise the bell/whistle. Not sure if this
applies to themes.
