Horizontal Lines

Hi,
Using Word2002.
Am trying to insert a horizontal line.
When I try Format | Borders & Shading | Horizontal Line, I get an
error window
"Microsoft Clip Organiser
Unspecified Error - error code 0x80004005
OK / Cancel"

If I click OK. I am left at the empty Horizontal Line window.
If I try to "search" for search text nothing happens.

Where are the horizontal lines kept?
Or better still how can I fix this?
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Word - still nothing.

Any ideas anyone?
