Horrible Noise

J

Jan Groshan

On certain websites I get a horrible sound when moving between
links.....kind of a loud, low, "whoosh". I've searched through all of the
sounds in my set up and can't find it, but definitely want to get rid of it.
Does anyone have an idea where it is eminating from, and how to disable it?

Go to Control Panel > Sounds and set "None" (from pull-down menu)
for "Complete Navigation" and "Start Navigation", then click "apply".

I tried that Carey. "Complete Navigation" was already "none", but "Start
Navigation" had an associated sound, so I made that one "none" as
well......it didn't solve the problem ! What next?
