ROCHELLE WEISS

Hi everybody,

I'm using Outlook 2003 with and @msn.com with hotmail.

How can I have the hotmail mail automatically downloaded to my local inbox
folder in the outlook.pst file instead of the seperate MSN folder? Is this
possible?

thanks

No, this is not possible because it is HTTP-mail. All the
on-line folders are cached and synchronised with an off-
line available pst-file. These boxes are exact copies of
eachother and therefor needs to have it own set of
folders.

Also please note that Outlook rules don't apply to HTTP-
mail. If you want to set rules on a HTTP-based account
you need to do that with the webbased account.

Hope this helps!

Hi Noah,

You can use Hotmail Popper to configure your Hotmail as a POP3 account. I'm
not sure if this will allow you to set rules on that account but you can
always use the on-line rules at Hotmail.
