Hotmail Folders in Outlook 2002

I get my hotmail folders and messages in Outlook 2002
with no problems, but 2 things really bother me.

1) Outlook takes a while to show my Hotmail messages.
Much more time than OE uses to take. It looks like it
takes more time to do the Send/Receive operation.

2) Every time I click on any Hotmail folder, my regular
Inbox folder (not the Hotmail one), blinks on the screen
first and then the Hotmail folder I clicked on is
displayed. So, it delays the Hotmail folder to be shown
and it looks like it goes back and forth to the outlook
Inbox folder when navigating through Hotmail folders.

Anyone experiencing that?

Any way that can be avoided?
