Hours in PWA

[MS Project/Web Access Issue]

One of our Project Managers has a weekly issue with a particular project.
The hours in MS Project do not match PWA and vice-versa. He uploads hours,
collaborates and publishes in Project. After he does this, should'nt we
assume that what is in Project should replicate what is in PWA?

The actual work in Project could be a calculated value. You can see other
field called Actual Work Protected that tells you about hours reported by
resources via PWA. If you have differences you must adjust the Actual Work
and update via republishing assignments and overwriting the actual work in
projectserver.
