how can i automatically keep track and update speadsheet?

how can i automatically keep track and update speadsheet?
currently i'm using Frontpage to create webpage and to link all the reports
from Excel. I need a webpage where i can know which speadsheet reports are
not up-to date on the webpage. Please give advice about it..thanks
