When I open up a new page in Publisher the surrounding colour is an aweful
pink. How can I change this to blue which is better for my eyes. Thank you
Bev

Look at the Accessibility options in the Control Panel. Disable high contrast.
In Vista the folder is Ease of Access Center.

G'Day Mary, Thank you so much for replying to me. I followed your
instructions but the "High Contrast" was already unchecked, so not sure what
is happening here. Your instructions were excellent for me to find my way
around as I am a novice with all that goes on behind the scenes. Guess I
will get used to pink lol, thank you so much again, olerocker ( Bev )

Do you have Vista? If you do, right-click the desktop, select Window Color and
Appearance. Change the color from pink to a color you prefer.

It is similar in XP, off hand I can't remember how to change the color.

Thank you once again for finding time to help me. I have Windows XP and I
Don Schmidt has told me where to go to change the application background but
it is already blue as I had done that awhile ago. I am so sorry for being a
nuisance with this, it is a new computer and I think I will learn to live
with what I have. Thank you so much again, olerocker ( Bev )

G'Day Don, Thank you for repying. I do have Windows XP and have set all the
settings ok but for some reason the Application Background eventhough it is
blue doesnt seem to want to work with Publisher 2007. I notice you also
mentione Default is row 1 Column 4 I didnt see anything that said that.
All is see when I click the Application background is Colour 1 (which I made
blue ) and Colour two was blanked out. Like I have said to Mary, I guess I
will learn to live with pink lol. Thank you so much again, olerocker ( Bev )
