How can I delete the date from an image taken and downloaded?

After I have downloaded a photo from my Nikkon digital, how can I remove the
date from the image?

Not sure what this has to do with Office but the answer is that you can't
(unless you use some image processing software and do it the hard way).
There may be a setting on your camers but by the time you have downloaded
the picture, the date is an integral part of the image and not in some
separate layer which can be removed.

Edit the photo with an image editing program. There isn't one in the
current Office suite.
