Thanks. I was not aware of that option. I had tried the "save as web page" trick before, but the result was almost always too horrible to look at. Increasing those settings gives me an output that I can actually use for some things
But is there any hope of retrieving my drawing object as any kind of more durable line-based file? I pasted an .eps object into word and when I edit it, Word converts it into its own drawing object. Someone enlightened me about the "paste special" to turn it into a "metafile" object, and it behaves more like the original, but it is still "trapped." I would like to retrieve it in some form that could later be edited with an advanced graphics program as a line-based object (instead of a picture)
Thanks
Car

Sometimes I create an object in Word using the drawing tools, Word Art
etc. I can use "Paste Special" to convert it to what I assume is som
standard metafile graphic (preferred option), or other available past
options (GIF, PNG, etc). How can I remove this object from the Wor
document so I have a graphic file instead of a graphic trapped in a Wor
document?
