How can I get power point to print to large paper (11 X17)?

I am attempting to print a page scaled to 11 X 17 to 11" X 17" paper. Upon
printing, power point seems to scale down the diagram to 8 1/2 X 11 paper.

When you print, go to File/Print and select "scale to fit page" rather than
just hitting the print icon.

If that doesn't do the trick, then I need more specifics --
What version of PPT
What version of Windows
What printer are you printing to
Is it on a network, or is it attached directly to your computer
What is the slide size setup in File/Page Setup

Thanks for the help. If I se scale to fit, it prints the diagram in an 8 1/2
X 11 area on the 11 X 17 paper. Ppt Version is 2003, SP1, running on XP
SP2, printing to an HP 1220C which has a carriage which handles up to 13 X 19
paper. The slide was stretched to about 9.5 X 15.5 in the page setup for
11 X 17 paper. The page says it is printing to 11 X 17, the printer is setup
for 11 X 17 but a 8 1/2 X 11 output is printed. I can print on legal ok.
Any other suggestions?

Sorry, in all that, I still don't know what you have specified as the slide
size under File/Page Setup. I *think* 11x17, but I"m not sure. FWIW, this is
the part that doesn't really make any sense to me:
The slide was stretched to about 9.5 X 15.5 in the page setup for
11 X 17 paper. The page says it is printing to 11 X 17

Remember, I can't see what's going on there, so you have to be specific
about what you're describing.

Generally, this
If I se scale to fit, it prints the diagram in an 8 1/2
X 11 area on the 11 X 17 paper

means that your printer is not recognizing that it has bigger (11x17) paper
in it, especially since you can print on legal okay.

You said the printer is set up for 11 x 17, but it could be that you just
mean there's 11x17 paper in the tray. So try going to File/Print, clicking
Properties next to the printer at the top of the dialog box, and making sure
tabloid is selected where all it needs to be selected.
