How can I get the median of the numbers in an Access Report?

I am trying to put a median function in the report footer in access for a
series of rates. The mean(AVG) was no problem, but it doesn't appear that
Access has a median function. How can I accomplish this?

Thank you for the response to my question. Based on the article, I would
have to build a module using VB to calculate the median. I am not very good
at VB.

Is there an easy way to build this median function into my database report?
Either in the report field or the query supporting the report?

I created th module, and placed the reference in the report summary of my
report (access 03). I get prompted for a parameter of 'median'.

What am I missing?
