How can I keep outlook from automatically coming to the foreground

If there is any single thing that is going to make me find another program to
organize my email, it is that while I am working Outlook seems to suddenly
decide that it is more important and pops up full-screen, interrupting my
work. It is really annoying, and I can't find information anywhere! This
probably happens to me 6-7 times every day.

If I can't correct this, I'm afraid I won't be a Microsoft Outlook user much
longer. I'm sure that Firefox has an extension that will serve the similar
purposes.

I know of no way to prevent it - what extension are you expecting firefox to
offer that will replace outlook?

If firefox (or any other mail client) offers the features you need, by all
means, use it - it's most likely faster and not so overpowering with
features and options you won't use. But if you need integrated mail,
calendar and tasks - I don't think you'll find it in a firefox extension.
