How can I open an email's URL link in a new browser window?

When clicking on a URL link in email in OutLook it always highjacks an open
IE browser window (such as where I have half filled out a form). There is no
option to 'open in new window' as is found in the right click menu for a link
on a webpage in IE. Can Microesoft make email links to always open in a new
browser window (or tab) or add "Open in New Window" to the right click menu?
