How can I schedule an alarm same day as all day event?

I want to set Entourage to remind me if it's someone birthday on that
day at 11am.

I have birthdays listed as all day events. I know I could change them
to be meetings at a certain time, and then the alarm is easy to
schedule. But that seems like it shouldn't be necessary. Also, I have
several hundred birthdays in my calendar and would hate to have to
change them all.

Having done a test (set an alarm x hours before the event) it puts the
alarm x hours before midnight. And you can't set an alarm to be
negative (after the event) so it seems like the latest you can set an
alarm for an all day event is 12am on that day. Who wants to know it's
someone's birthday at midnight???

Any ideas?
