setting an All-Day event

I have a recurring All-Day event to remind me to insert a removable HD
into my PC so files can be backed up to it over night. This event can
be on any given day - my choice.
The following day I am supposed to remove the HD and store it somewhere
else in the building. My problem is I want to create and All-Day event
to remind me to remove and store the HD. I have not yet found a way to
do this.
For example, if I insert the removable drive on the 3rd Wednesday, I
want to remove in on the Thursday. But wait . . . if Thursday is the
1st, the 3rd Wednesday is the 21st and the 3rd Thursday is the 15th.
I'll get the All-Day event to remove the drive 6 days before I insert
it. Every day I choose has the same flaw.
I could set the 'insert drive event for a specific date (e.g., the 10th)
with a 'remove' event on the 11th. But if the 10th is on a Sunday, I
won't get the 'insert' event on Friday.
Is there a way to set up an All-Day event to run 24 hours after a
previous event? If not, anyone know a work-around?
