How can I select graphic in a table in Word?

I created a table and placed a graphic in it in Word 2002. After the graphic
was turned off, I wanted to resize it. I couldn't select the graphic. How
can I find it to select it after I have moved on and want to come back to it?
I wanted to copy the entire table including graphic and text box to make
more than one on a page. I was unable to do so although I worked at it for a
long time.

The graphic is probably anchored to the page rather than being in the table
cell. It is best to use an inline graphic (format picture > Layout > in line
with text) when working in tables. Floating Graphics don't live in the text
space with your document, they live in another layer and float on top or
underneath your document text.
Go back to the page with the graphic and/table and right click on the
graphic. Go to format picture and make the graphic inline as described above.
Then, if necessary, cut it and paste it into the table cell where you want it
to live. If you do this, then your graphic will travel with the table if you
need to move it.

There are some very helpful articles on the Word MVP FAQ site about working
with graphics. http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/index.htm
