I purchased two new computers for my business, and bought Office 2003 OEM's
online. I paid less than full retail, but over 60% of retail, with no motive
other than to
save a few bucks. The site "guaranteed" the software, but now they're gone.
This week, Microsoft basically disabled one of the installations, and, via
its' WGA, gave us a message that it is pirated. I want to uninstall the
programs, and reload genuine programs, but Microsoft has disabled the
installer/uninstaller. Can I load good software on top of the bad? I can't
find any instructions on the Microsoft site for what to do. Maybe I should
sue Microsoft for vandalizing my computer? I would never purposely use
pirated software, and what I have looks right, but is missing the
COA, so it's probably not.
