How can I use Publisher for Avery 5408 or 5472 labels

I need to make 3/4" round labels for a wedding. I can not position
everything on Word, where the Avery template works. I can not find a
template for the labels on Publisher. Any other ideas how I can get these
labels done without paying someone else to do it?

Go to the Avery website and download DesignPro Limited.. it is a free
program, and accommodates all Avery products..

51 MB is quite a download! I downloaded the program for the heck of it, basically to
get the page layout to use in Publisher. The two labels the poster is interested in
using is not present in DesignPro. Corel has layouts for all sort of labels and
brands, but not for a .75 circle. Avery does have a Word template on their site.

If one goes for the step by step Wizard design route, 5472 is present..
there appears to be no rhyme or reason in the way that templates have been
assigned to the various construction methods, other than possibly, the more
difficult templates to lay out have only been included in the Wizard part..

I will try it when I get home. I did think that was a huge file to download
though. And the Word template is hard to use and position items.

Design Pro is a program that comes supplied with limited clipart.. hence its
size..

I don't have this size listed in this version. The Word template that I downloaded
from Avery have these labels setup on 4 x 6 stock.
In Publisher, setup the printer first to a custom 4 x 6 page.
In page setup, select custom, input .75 for width and height.
Change copies per sheet, .31 side - - .6 top - - .06 horizontal gap - - .12 vertical
gap.
Do a test run, if it isn't quite right change the gaps to .07 and .13
Draw a .75 circle to fill the square space, this will keep your design in bounds.
Delete the circle when you are finished.

I did try this last night and I must be missing something. I set up a custom
paper size to 4 x 6 for the pronter. When in Pub I used custom set up and
was not able to change anything for the page setup. I guess I just need step
by step directions. Or is there another program or easier way to print on
these labels?

If you setup your printer for 4 x 6 and go to page setup, the size input boxes will
be dimmed until you select custom.

I did have Custom selected in Page setup on Pub.

Can you give me the directions, step by step?
thank you
