How can Infopath spellcheck work on a form with long dropdown list

I have an infopath form that contains two dropdown lists which pull thousands
of values from a list on a sharepoint site. The spell check feature is not
working on forms with such long dropdowns and I have found other posts which
call this a known bug. Are there any simple workarounds to get the spell
checker to function withough removing the large drop down lists? Thanks

Negative, I am using a regular InfoPath 2003 form, non-web form. The fields
are a mix of things, but the ones we are looking at are just single line text
fields. The spell check functionality was working right up until the point I
created the data connection to the Sharepoint list and associated it with the
dropdown menu at the top of the form.

I have also been able to look at a couple similar forms which all fit the
pattern of "forms with large dropdowns do not have a functional spell check
(no errors occur, but it fails to recognize that any words are misspelled and
simply say spelling check complete with no errors) while others created in
the same fashion and published to the same site collection that do not
contain dropdowns with a large number of items do have a functional spell
check ability.

I found one blog post out there which reference this as a MS bug, but I have
yet to find any fix or workaround.

Thanks for responding so quick, please let me know if you have any other
ideas, I appreciate the help.

I haven't heard of this bug.

If this bug has been reported it would go through a review process to
detemine when/if it would be fixed. If it is fixed it would be released in a
service pack.

If you are update date with your Office Service Pack then it is possible
that this bug has not been reported or it has not made it into the queue for
a fix yet.

I will see if I can find anything but I'm not sure how long that will take
since we are busy with the next version of InfoPath.

Thanks,

development team yet.

If you have a support contact feel free to report this issue.
