How can I copy a portion of a web page ( i assume is html) into a power point
slide without losing the format of the info on the web page. When I do copy
paste format goes to hell.

Gary,

it maybe better to do a "screen grab"

1 view the webpage
2 size it to your liking
3 press the "print screen" key on the keyboard
4. paste into a graphics app (preferable not powerpoint)
5. crop
6. save
7. in powerpoint > insert menu > picture > from file

"MVP" has it in our book for your posting on saving a webpage into a
powerpoint presentation. I just spent two weeks trial & error testing the
many different screen capture software ( from CNET, "Camtasia" would have
been my primarily choice ),but I needed something easy , fast and simple.
This posting from years back gave us the "Prime Solution To Doing Just That"..

"You're The Best and All The Best To You".

"In Essence, Thanks A Million For The Plain,Clear Cut Simple Advise".

In addition, now we know where to go to grab some "Excellent looking
backgrounds for our stuff!...

Thank you so much for this simple and quick response! I was having the same
problem and searched for an idea of how to do this and stumbled upon this
technique! It was wonderful and I really appreciate the instructions listed!
Thanks again! Kathy
