how do i activate office 2007 if my product key doesn't work?

i am so frustrated i want to kick this computer...it keeps saying invalid code

Are you typing in the Office 2007 product key shown on
the Office 2007 Certificate of Authenticity?

Are you using the code from the sticker attached to your computer? If
so that code is for Windows, not office. You should be getting the key
off the sticker attached to the CD case that Office came in.

Are you reading the code carefully? "B" and "8" and "0" (zero) and "O"
(Oh) look a lot alike (actually I don't think that the product keys
ever use zero's or oh's.

Yeah---especially the "B" and "8".....That was my downfall. I'll never get
THAT hour back ......
