How do I add new fonts to microsoft word?

D

Darci

I have new fonts I can put into Microsoft Word but I don't know how to add
them. I don't want to have to keep clicking on the icon I want them to open
automatically when I open Word to start using it. Can someone please tell me
how to do this?

Thank you,

Word will only display the fonts the current printer is capable of printing.
If you have others on file, then you can add them through the fonts applet
in Windows control panel - which is probably the simplest route.

You don't install fonts in Word; you install them in Windows, by copying
them to the Fonts folder or by opening Control Panel | Fonts and selecting
Install New Font from the File menu.
