How do I alphabetize my email display as list?

My email list is taken from my "contacts" list.
My contacts list is in alphabetical order by last name first, then first name.
My list in my email address book is by first name.
How do I change the address book to list by Last Name?
This is probably ovbious but I have looked numerous times and just seem to
be overlooking the ovbious.

I have Outlook 2003. Thanks for the tip.

I finally figured out if I don't put a comma in and file by last name first,
i.e.
Jones Anne, I will get what I am looking for. I have spent months trying to
figure this out. I appreciate your help.
