How do I change access privliges or credentials in word 2003?

When changing a chart type I change the zoom to Whole Page and then double
click inside the chart. I get a message that says I do not have access
privliges or that I can not use the feature without credentials. Can I change
these settings. I need this for classes I am taking.

What's the *exact* error message you receive?
