how do i change execution parameters

Please use the big blank area to explain your question. What do you
mean by "execution parameters"? Are you even asking a question about
Word?

Do you mean "startup" parametres? If so, go into word, help, microsoft word
help, index and type startup. A list of startup parametres and descriptions
will be displayed.
