how do i change images into the JPEG type

hi
i have a few pictures that i cannot veiw on certain devises as they are not
of the 'JEPG' type, instead are 'bitmap'. i want to know how to change them
into this type.

Open the images in an image editor such as irfanview (www.irfanview.com)
then from the file menu do a Save As and change the file type to JPG and
Save

Hi Joss,
Import the pictures to Power-Point,
Click "Save as" and save them in JPEG format.
