How do I change selected text to upper or lower case?

Some word processors allow you to select a block of text and change its case
all to upper case or lower case. MS Office Help does not know what I am
talking about.

Try Shift+F3

Wonderful, thank you. It works in Outlook too. "Help" should point me to
this very helpful macro/shortcut/whatever you call it.

I agree, and I might be able to help there if you can tell me where you were
searching for help, and what word or phrase you used in your search. If you
were searching directly from an application, which app and which version
(i.e., Word 2002, Word 2000, etc.)?

It does. It's just that you're too stupid to know how to find it. I entered
"change case" into Word's help and the first answer told me exactly what
'Echo' told you...
