how do I change the color of an object inside a picture?

I NEED TO FIND OUT HOW TO CHANGE THE COLOR OF AN OBJECT THAT IS SET INSIDE A
PICTURE. EX: A PICTURE OF A PARTY.....I WANT TO CHANGE TO COLOR OF THE
CAKE.......CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME AN ANSWER.....

If it is a .wmf, select the image, arrange, ungroup, yes... You can select the
segment and recolor.
If it is a bitmap, you will have to edit it in a Paint type program.

If you have a digital image editing program....
make a cutout of the cake, save the cutout
in the original image as a layer, select the
layer and change the color.
