How do I change the column width for one row only in InfoPath?

I would like to change the column width in one row without changing the
column width in all other rows? I am working in a table in InfoPath designing
a form.

You can do this by adding another column or splitting and merging.
For example, you want this:
|___|___|
|_____|_|
|___|___|

In the 2nd row, split the 2nd cell into 2.
Now, merge the 1st cell and the 2nd.

The one catch to this, is that if you try to resize the new, wider 1st cell,
you can not drag the right border to the left of the existing column.
The 1st cell must be wider than the 1st column.
You'll see when you play around with it some.

You could also just add a 2-column table into the row and change the inner
table's column sizes...
