How do I change the view in Tasks so I don't see completed tasks?

Hi,
I'd like to see my list of tasks without all of the lined-out completed
tasks interspersed throughout the list - can I do this?

In the Simple List view, I tried sorting by the Complete field, which
successfully moved all of the completed tasks to the bottom of the list, but
then I wanted to sort the active tasks by date. Is it possible to sort by
one field and then another?

I'm on Ofc 2K7 SBE with Exchange
