How do I clean Frontpage code

P

Pier.Rodelon

I have switched from PC to Mac and would prefer to switch to some Mac
WYSIWYG web program, but all of them (Dreamweaver, etc) seem to suggest
I must first "clean" the FP2003 code before exporting it.

Can someone explain how this is done? I have a very simple site with
shared top borders and one table with no sub-tables.

Thanks.

Click on Tools/Optimize HTML. You'll see many options for "cleaning" your
code.

I'd make a backup of the website. Then, try a few at a time...or, if you're
a brave sort, select all the options. Hypothetically, you can click on
"Restore Defaults" and get back to square one.

Hope that works. Let us know.
