How do I close Outlook??

I'm trying to install Office from the Microsoft disc, but it keeps telling me
i need to close Outlook in order to continue. I've tried working offline, ive
tried exiting... i dont know what to do!!

Help would be appreciated!

In Outlook go to File-Exit.
Then when Outlook has "closed" do Ctl-Alt-Del and choose "Task Manager".
Click on the "Processes" tab and see if Outlook.exe is still running. If it
is, highlight it and click the "End Process" button. That should do it.
