How do I compare two columns on seperate sheets and replace text .

I want to compare text in cells of two different columns on two different
sheets and replace the text in cells in a third column of the second sheet
with the text of the cells in the third column of the first sheet if the text
of the two compared cells are the same.

IF(SHEET2!B4=SHEET3!D3,SHEET2!B4)

--Where the sheet containing this formula is other than
SHEET2 or SHEET3
