How do I convert PowerPoint to Adobe?

I have a PowerPoint presentation that I am trying to convert into Adobe. I
saved the .ppt file, but when I tried to convert it into .pdf or Open it in
Adobe, I keep getting this error: "Acrobat could not open file.pps because
it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been
corrupted."
I'm not sure how this could be possible since I was able to make it into a
..pdf file last week. Thank you in advance for your help!

You don't save a file as a .pdf - you have to print it to a .pdf.

I am assuming you have Acrobat, not just the free Reader.

Basically, you install whatever PDF-making application you have, then in PPT
choose File|Print and select the PDF-creator from the list of printers.

If you need more specific info, post in the PPT newsgroup and you'll get
better answers.

Download and install OpenOffice 2.0. Open the presentation in Impress
and "File - Save as PDF ..."
