how do I convert publisher items into gif, jpeg etc

I am using Publisher 2000 and I have a number of "cartoons" which I have
downloaded to a floppy for someone... they cannot open them they say they
need to be either.. gif, jpeg or something windows can read how do i change
them??

Publisher can save as either gif or jpg, but your best bet
is to create a pdf. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat (not
the reader) you can download Win2PDF to create a pdf.
