How do I copy an Excel file into a Powerpoint Presentation...

I am trying to attach an Excel Spreadsheet into a Powerpoint Presentation
without linking it to a network server. I would prefer that it was a
standalone attachement.

If you aren't going to use the viewer, you can embed it in the presentation.
Click on Insert Object, Create from file, Select your file, click ok. This
will embed a COPY of the spreadsheet into your presentation. This method
won't keep the spreadsheet updated, though. It will only update the copy in
the presentation when you make changes. Change the Action Settings for the
spreadsheet to be able to edit it in slide show mode.
