How do I copy Headers, Footers & Legends between MS Project Plans.

Help!
I'm going bananaz opening old Project Plans, and recursively selecting one
of three windows for each of Header, Footer and Legend to copy and paste
between two Project Plans, let alone between views within a plan for printing.
Somebody must have cracked it with a macro or something.
Help!

Hi ComingSoon,

Have you tried the Macro Recorder to record the creation of the header and
footer you want? You could then run the macro in any project file (as long
as you choose to store the macro in the Global template file when you
record.)

I've not tried the Macro Recorder but obviously others have so I'd be
thrilled to receive links to the works if such exist out there. I do find it
extraordinary that Headers Footers & Legends are so intractable. And in
Excel.
