how do I copy the text from Tiff images without OCR ?

Without the need of OCR the file, is there a way to convert or copy the text
content in a tiff image?

Hi Ice,

Without being 'recognized' as text by an OCR program you'd
have a picture of words in a text file, not characters.
You can copy and paste the picture but it won't be
editable.

Office XP and Office 2003 include MS Office Document Imaging
with an OCR capability as an optional install choice.
