and drag Picture Manager to the Desktop, release, Copy Here

The same as any other application, you send a shortcut to your desktop.

Go to: All Programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office Tools then right
click on Picture Manager shortcut and move your mouse pointer to Send To.
The from the menu, select Desktop {Create a Shortcut}.
