How do I create a relative hyperlink in Powerpoint?

I am using Poerpoint 2002. I have created several presentations with one
presentation that serves as the main menu with the other presentations
hyperlinked to the main menu. I need to copy all the presentations to a CD
for distribution, however, when I copy the presentations to the CD the
hyperlinks are not updated and still point to the old location on my computer
and not to the location on the CD. How do I make the links relative? The old
version of powerpoint (97 I think) had a check box to make the links
relative. I cannot figure out how to do it and the Help pages are not much
help, they just tell you what a relative link is, but not how to set them up.

Put all of the presentations, and the files that they link to, together in a
single folder. Then delete all of the links and re-create them. When that is
complete you can copy the contents of the folder to a CD and play it on another
system successfully.

See an explanation at:

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or email a
presentation
