How do I create a signature in outlook 2003 w/ both type images?

When I paste a signature into 2003 and get the images to not disappear.
I have been using paint to turn the whole thing into one tif file but the
client needs to be able to modify it themselves.

Don't paste it but when creating the signature, simply point it to the image
file. You might want to convert the image to a jpg- or gif-file because of a
higher level of compression.
